Written by Rohit Venugopal

1. Understand what the referral feature does 0:00

  • GoodFit can now accept employee referrals as applications.

  • Existing employees can refer friends or known candidates to open roles at your organization.

  • Referred candidates will flow into the platform like other applicants.

2. Add approved email domains for referrers 0:15

  • Go to Settings.

  • Open Referral Settings.

  • Add the email domain(s) that should be allowed to submit referrals.

  • Typically, this will be your company domain (for example, goodfit.so).

  • Save the changes so employees using those domains can refer candidates.

3. Enable referrals for a specific job 0:51

  • Open the job you want to configure, such as a DevOps Engineer role.

  • Click Edit Job.

  • Go to Settings for that job.

  • Find the option Do we allow employee reference?

  • Turn it on to let teammates refer candidates for that role from the careers page.

4. Submit a referral from the job page 1:19

  • Visit the job opening page.

  • You should now see a Refer a Candidate option.

  • If you are logged in with an approved email domain, you can submit a referral.

  • Fill in:

    • Candidate full name

    • Candidate email address

    • Resume

  • Submit the referral.

5. Review referral performance in sourcing 1:34

  • Referred candidates will appear in the sourcing funnel.

  • You can track source performance for employee referrals.

  • The platform shows:

    • How many employees referred applicants

    • The pipeline status for referred candidates
