I'm unable to proceed with mic testing?
Make sure your mic is in working condition and there is no glitch in your windows mic drive.
For mic test stage - you have to speak the words within the quotes into your mic to proceed ahead - "THIS SHOULD BE LOUD AND CLEAR"My interview ended abruptly
Please re attempt the interview and make sure you are not using any earphones/headphones and you are using the latest version of chrome browser. We recommend attending the interview using a laptop/desktop
Not able to upload the resume
Make sure you are using the pdf format to upload your resume and also, make sure you are clicking on the black button stating 'upload resume' to move ahead.Not able to open the interview link using chrome browser button
Will be great if you could try opening the link on a windows or android device and we recommend using the latest version of chrome browser for attending the interview.
Can I test my camera and microphone beforehand?
Yes. Before your interview starts, Goodfit will automatically run a mic check and show you a video preview so you can confirm everything looks and sounds good.
Can I pause the interview and return later?
No. Each interview must be completed in one sitting. Please close other apps and silence notifications to avoid interruptions.
How long will the interview take?
Interviews vary by role but typically last 5 to 45 minutes. Plan ahead so you have enough time in a quiet space.
What should I do if I accidentally close the window or app while interviewing?
Please contact our technical support team with the company name and job title. We’ll evaluate the situation and may resend you a link to reattempt.
Do I need to dress formally for the interview?
Yes - treat it like a real interview and dress professionally.
Can I take the interview in a different language?
Goodfit currently supports English and Hindi only. We’re rapidly expanding to support more languages.
What if I don’t feel comfortable on camera?
All Goodfit interviews require your camera to be on. If you disconnect during the interview, you may be disqualified. If you’d prefer not to do an AI interview, please reach out to the company directly.
Can I practice before the real interview starts?
Goodfit does not currently support mock interviews. You can, however, practice with a friend or run your own mock sessions before starting.
How many times can I apply or interview for the same company?
This depends on the company. Most companies allow only one attempt per job role.
Is my interview recorded and who can see it?
Yes. Your interview is recorded and shared only with the company you applied to.
What should I do if my internet disconnects in the middle of the interview?
If your interview is interrupted, please reach out to our technical support team with the company name and job title. We’ll review the situation and may resend you a link to reattempt.
Can I use notes during the interview?
Yes, but handle it just like a normal interview - avoid reading directly from notes. It’s best to use them only as quick reminders.
Can I retry if I make a mistake?
No retries are allowed to keep the process fair for all candidates. However, if you face technical issues during your interview, please reach out to our support team via chat or email ([email protected]).
Will I get feedback if I don’t move forward?
Feedback depends on the company. Some choose to provide feedback, while others may only contact you if you’re shortlisted.
What happens after I finish my interview?
Once you complete your interview, your responses are securely shared with the hiring company. Watch out for an email from them with updates on the next steps.
